PTI denied permission for power show at Minar-e-Pakistan 

In a major development, Lahore’s district administration has rejected PTI’s application to hold a public gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan on February 8, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

Deputy Commissioner Lahore has rejected the NOC application moved by PTI for its power show in the city citing law and order situation. 

Earlier, Lahore High Court directed local administration to decided the fate of PTI’s application. 

Deputy Commissioner maintained that during the month of February, many international cricket teams were arriving Lahore to attend champions trophy matches, several global conferences and international Horse and Cattle show is being organized by the government therefore thousands of security officials have already been assigned the duties for the security of various events. 

DC further added that local government has no extra police force to provide security to PTI power show therefore the government has decided to reject PTI’s request for NOC.
