A ward boy at Hameed Latif Hospital in Lahore attempted to rape a girl in the washroom, reported 24NewsHD TV on Thursday.

Accused Usman Aslam was arrested for trying to rape a maid who came with the patient.

Station House Officer (SHO) Garden Town Imran Anwar said a case has been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.

SP Garden Town Syed Aziz said that the harassment of women is intolerable.

Relevant administration should also ensure safety of women visiting parks, hospitals and other public places, said SP Aziz.
