Anoushey Ashraf reflects on memorable December moments

Anoushey Ashraf has shared a heartfelt reflection on a joyful, busy, and memorable December, expressing gratitude and cherishing the little moments of life.

Taking to Instagram, she posted a carousel of pictures and clips with the caption: “December was full. House. Heart. Plates.”

She added: “Tons of little humans, family, dogs, books, hugs, doodles and some work, padel and friends too! All of it? A BIG blessing.

“Thankful to God, always. Trying to notice it all while it’s happening. 10/10 would December again. And this song? A million memories stored in it.”

Her post reflects that she spent time with children, family, and pets, read books, shared hugs, drew or doodled, worked, played padel (a sport), and socialized with friends. Essentially, her month was full of activities, love, and connections.

She expressed gratitude for all these experiences, appreciating every moment in real time rather than only reflecting later. She loved her December so much that she would happily relive it, and a particular song she listened to brings back countless memories.

Earlier, Anoushey took to Instagram to share a sincere birthday tribute to actress Sarwat Gilani.

In an Instagram Story, she reposted one of Sarwat’s own posts, one in which the actress bid farewell to her character Gul from the ongoing drama Biryani.

She captioned the shared post, “Happiest Birthday to this real-life hero. Spreading confetti and happiness wherever she goes! @sarwatg”, acknowledging Sarwat in both personal and professional light.

Sarwat’s original post centered on her character’s exit from Biryani, where she wrote, “Goodbye گل Thank you for reminding me what strength, dignity and courage looks like.”

In the accompanying photo, she appears dressed in a white nightgown with black bow details, complemented by a red lip and bold eyeliner, an understated yet expressive visual to mark the close of that chapter in the drama.

Anoushey Ashraf, known for her work as a video jockey, television host, radio personality and actor, has been a visible figure in Pakistan’s media landscape since the early 2000s.

She has hosted shows such as Pakistan Idol and appeared in television dramas including Chanar Ghati and Sehra Main Safar. Off‑screen, she is also recognised for her advocacy work on social issues and inclusivity.
