The actress recently took to Instagram to share a video message in which she criticized a podcast featuring dancer Nisha Yousaf.
In the podcast, host Zainab Yousaf spoke with Nisha about her career, family reactions to her profession, earnings, and the ways performers generate income in the entertainment industry.
Sharing her thoughts on the matter, Bushra posted the video with the caption, “Action should be appropriate!! PEMRA!”
Through the caption, Bushra questioned why authorities take action in some cases while remaining silent on other content.
In her video message, she questioned whether such discussions were suitable for public consumption.
Bushra expressed particular concern over segments in which the dancer spoke openly about her earnings, event bookings, and advice for others looking to enter the field.

The actress also drew a comparison with a previous incident involving a television tribute to late Indian music legend Asha Bhosle.
Bushra recalled that a channel had reportedly received a notice over the broadcast and questioned why swift action was taken in that case while similar discussions on digital platforms continue to circulate freely.
Bushra said her concern was not about any individual, but about how different types of content are treated differently. She questioned why some material is scrutinized immediately while other content appears to escape regulatory attention.
