Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA from Karachi Amir Liaquat Hussain recited a Naat after Prime Minister Imran Khan won the vote of confidence from the National Assembly on Saturday bagging 178 votes, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

As the National Assembly exploded into jubilation after the speaker’s announcement about the vote of confidence, Amir Liaquat was the first lawmaker who was given the mike to give his reaction. 

Amir Liaquat recited a couplet for Imran Khan, “mujh ko kursi ki caha nhi, mujko sunta hay jo woh samee hai, apne Imran ko tanha na chorain, aa raha hun mein Madinah”.

Before the naat recitation, he congratulated the Prime Minister and said it seemed like he was elected twice as prime minister. 

Earlier Amir Liaquat said, “People are asking why he did not come to the party meeting. If I tell the reason, then the abusive brigade of our party will create a mountain of abusive thoughts. The vote belonged to Khan Sahib and will remain with him. I will be seen in the assembly.”
