Maids loot more than Rs10 million gold, currency from Lahore house

A maid and her two daughters looted more than Rs10 million worth of gold and cash from the owner’s home in Sabzazar Colony of Lahore on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

According to police, accused Noor Fatima and Saba have criminal records. 

Both sisters, along with their mother, broke into the house of Usman and committed the robbery, posing as domestic workers, stole 33 tolas of gold and foreign currency. 

The gang of women also stole Rs700,000 cash and fled.

Closed-circuit footage shows the woman and her two daughters stuffing their belongings in a bag and leaving.

The women were also seen taking away the belongings through the cameras installed near the house.

Investigation was ongoing with the help of fingerprints and other evidence, the police said.
