Flight operation partially resumes at Karachi Airport

Flight operations of Emirates Airlines, Flydubai, and Air Arabia were partially resumed at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport on Friday, reported 24News HD Channel.

Airport sources said that 814 flights were cancelled from Pakistan to various Gulf countries during the last seven days.

Flight operations for Qatar and Kuwait still have not resumed.  106 flights from Pakistan to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar were cancelled.

26 flights, which were scheduled to depart from Karachi airport for Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Sharjah, Kuwait, and Bahrain, were cancelled.

18 flights, which were scheduled to take off for Doha, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Sharjah from Islamabad airport and other airports, were also cancelled.

22 flights from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, were cancelled. These flights were scheduled to land in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

6 flights from Multan International Airport were cancelled. These flights were scheduled to take off for Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Bahrain, Doha, and Kuwait.

4 flights from Sialkot International Airport were cancelled. These flights were scheduled to land at Dubai International Airport.

The airspace for flights for the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Iran is closed from February 28, 2026.
