Pakistan International Airlines and international online ticket providing company Amidis signed an agreement on Wednesday.

Pakistan International Airlines Chief Executive Officer Air Marshal (r) Arshad Malik said according to the agreement PIA would be able to sale tickets worldwide.

“New sales agents will be provided excess to sale PIA tickets across the globe. The overseas Pakistanis can book domestic PIA flights from Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar,” said the PIA chief executive.  

According to the accord, the travel agents attached with Amidis Booking system can now book PIA domestic and international flights. It was being ensured that these agents would be given excess to sale PIA tickets easily, said Arshad Malik.

Arshad Malik said the agreement with Amidis would extend PIA operation during this uncertain situation. The accord will open avenues of progress, he maintained.
