Bid to smuggle 12kg gold foiled

Police on Thursday foiled a bid to smuggle 12 kilogram gold in Pindi Bhattian, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

As per details, a couple was caught at Pindi Bhattian Motorway Interchange. They were going to Faisalabad from Peshawar. They hid 12kg gold in the car. During the search, police found the gold and confiscated it. Later, the police handed over the confiscated gold and car to Customs authorities.
