Shehbaz seeks removal of name from blacklist

The Lahore High Court has admitted PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif’s petition seeking removal of his name from the blacklist, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Justice Ali Baqir Najfi will hear the PML-N leader’s petition tomorrow (Friday).
Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday submitted an application to the Lahore High Court praying to remove his name from the blacklist.
PML-N President and former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz has made by federal government, interior ministry and FIA as parties in his petition.

Mr Shehbaz said the Lahore High Court had granted him bails in Ashiana Iqbal and Ramazan Sugar Mills references. He said he went abroad after securing bail and then came back. He said his name was included in the blacklist at the instigation of the federal government.
He said it was a violation of his basic human rights to include his name in the blacklist on the orders of the federal government. He pleaded that the federal government must be directed to remove his name from the blacklist.
