Mr Shehbaz said the Lahore High Court had granted him bails in Ashiana Iqbal and Ramazan Sugar Mills references. He said he went abroad after securing bail and then came back. He said his name was included in the blacklist at the instigation of the federal government.

He said it was a violation of his basic human rights to include his name in the blacklist on the orders of the federal government. He pleaded that the federal government must be directed to remove his name from the blacklist
