Islamabad police have arrested a man for making a fake call that three minor children were being molested at Quaid-e-Azam University Colony, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday. 

After receiving a call claiming that that three kids had been molested in the aforementioned area, the Secretariat police immediately sprang into action and rushed to the colony.

A heavy police contingent, including senior police officers, reached the spot to look into the matter. 

After reaching there, they found out that the man, who had made the call, had been separated from his wife and the court had given his wife custody of the children. 

Therefore, the frustrated man made a bogus call in order to defame the ex-wife's family. 

A case was registered against the accused after a thorough investigation by SHO Secretariat Tahir Nadeem. 

The Secretariat Police arrested the accused and sent him behind the bars.
