KP CM Afridi, PTI workers protest outside IHC

A heavy contingent of the police took its position while barricades were placed outside the gate of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday after Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Sohail Afridi and PTI workers assembled outside the court to register protest against not fixing the cases against former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan for the hearing, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Later, the KP chief minister reached the office of the secretary of the IHC chief justice (CJ),

However, police barred PTI Senator Falak Naz from entering the office.

Sub-Inspector (SI) Nasir misbehaved with the senator. “You cannot go inside,” shouted the SI at the top of his voice.

“How on earth can you stop me? I am a senator,” Falak replied.

The SI replied, “And I am an officer on duty.”

The senator warned him that if did not mend his ways, she would summon him to a parliamentary committee.
