Mahan Air's inaugural flight carrying 264 passengers departs for Tehran from Islamabad
Direct flight between Tehran and Islamabad has started as Mahan Air's inaugural flight departed for Tehran from Islamabad Airport on November 6, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
Mahan Air flight W5-1184 successfully takes off from Islamabad airport amid the presence of COO of Islamabad International Airport, APM Aftab Gilani. High officials of Iranian Embassy and CSO attended the ceremony.
Mahan Air's inaugural flight was operated on an Airbus A340. The flight departed with 264 passengers. The scheduled flight time was 1130 while the actual departure time was 1217.
Mahan Air will operate two weekly flights from Islamabad to Tehran, said Chief Operating Officer Aftab Gilani.
All operational and facility arrangements were completed in the best possible manner by the Pakistan Airports Authority.
