The residents of Lasbela came out on road in protest against the bifurcation of the Balochistan district, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Tuesday.

Thousands of passengers were stranded on the Hub Uthal and Bela to Quetta Karachi national highway.  

Last week, the Balochistan government issued a notification. The decision in this regard was taken by the provincial cabinet two months ago.

The demonstrators raised the demand for canceling the notification. The protesters said they would continue their protest till the withdrawal of the notification to bifurcate the district of Baluchistan.  The Bela market was also closed in the protest.
