ECP to take up plea challenging PTI intra-party poll

The Election Commission of Pakistan has fixed the petitions filed against the PTI intra-party election for hearing

A total of 11 applications will be heard on December 8 at 10 am

The PTI's founding leader Akbar S Babar challenged PTI intra-party elections on December 5. The others who moved the commission are Raja Tahir Nawaz Abbasi, Yusuf Ali, Mahmood Ahmed Khan, Noreen Farooq Khan, Sabah Zahid, Raja Hamid Zaman Khan, Mohammad Shah Fahd, Mohammad Muzmal Sindhu, Bilal Azhar and Jahangir Khan.

The petitioners termed PTI's December 2 polls rigged and fraudulent and urged the election commission to declare the polls null and void.

They requested the commission to get a fair election commission in the PTI for the intra-party elections.
