Three-day ophthalmological symposium concluded in Lahore
A three-day “43rd Ophthalmological Symposium” successfully concluded in Lahore, reported 4NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The symposium was organised by the Ophthalmological Society of Pakistan. The symposium started on December 7.
More than 1800 eye experts participated in the symposium. 400 national and 21 internationally renowned eye experts shared their research.
A live surgical session became the main attraction, supervised by Professor Dr Nasir Chaudhary.
Organised by the Ophthalmological Society of Pakistan (OSP) and in collaboration with the Pakistan Ophthalmological Association (POA), the annual scientific and research gathering of ophthalmology is going to be held at the Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore.
The conference titled “43rd Lahore Ophthalmology and POA’s 3rd Annual Symposium” will be a key hub for cutting-edge scientific research, global trends in ophthalmology, live surgical sessions, hands-on training, and exhibition of the latest equipment.
This year, the conference is being chaired by Professor Dr Javed Iqbal and the General Secretary Dr Nasir Chaudhry, and the Pakistan Ophthalmological Association will be a special part of the event.
Prominent ophthalmologists from all over the world are participating in the conference. 21 international speakers and a large number of national speakers from various countries, including the USA, UK, Canada, Europe, Hong Kong/China, UAE, Turkey, Portugal, Nepal, and Greece, will share their experiences.
