Balochistan CM backs appointment of retired Justice as PSC Chairman

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Saturday described the appointment of Justice (retired) Mehta Kohli as chairman of the Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC), 24NewsHD TV reported.

In a statement posted on social media platform X, the chief minister said the appointment reflected the provincial government’s commitment to transparent recruitment and institutional reform.

“There is not a single person in Balochistan who can question his integrity and character,” Bugti said, referring to Justice (retd) Kohli.

The chief minister said the government was not merely making claims but was taking concrete steps to establish good governance and enforce merit-based systems across the province.
