PTI leader Aslam Iqbal allowed to contest polls

Former minister and PTI leader Mian Aslam Iqbal has been allowed to contest the election, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Judge of Appellate Tribunal of Lahore High Court Justice Tariq Nadeem accepted the appeals of Mian Aslam Iqbal and his brother Mian Javed Iqbal.

The judge annulled the returning officer's decision to reject the nomination papers of Mian Aslam Iqbal from PP 171.

It should be noted that the hearing of appeals against the decisions of the returning officers regarding the nomination papers is going on and all appeals will be decided by January 10.
