Five die, 27 wounded after bus falls into ravine in Talagang
Five people were killed while 27 were injured after a bus fell into a 100-feet deep ravine in Dhok Pathan area of Talagang near Chakwal due to dense fog on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The ill-fated bus was heading from Rawalpindi to Multan via GT Road when it met with an accident.
The injured were shifted to a hospital.
Three weeks ago, six people, including a bus hostess, were killed while 14 others were injured in two accidents on M-4 motorway in Khanewal and Talagang.
The first accident took place near Makhdoom Interchange in which a bus collided with a trailer when its driver fell asleep while driving, killing the bus hostess on the spot and injuring 14 others.
Rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and the injured to District Headquarters Hospital, Khanewal.
In the second accident, two motorcyclists were killed when their speeding motorcycle crashed into a parked tanker in Talagang.
