Pakistan International Airline (PIA) successfully operated the first direct flight between Islamabad to Chengdu China, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Chinese aviation authorities at the Chengdu International Airport extended a splendid welcome to the PIA flight and also cut a cake on the occasion. 

The Chinese Embassy in Islamabad said that direct flights between both cities enhance bilateral ties with China.

Also, PIA has opened the northern areas to the world and now added more flights from Islamabad to Skardu, 12 times a week, for more choice and greater convenience. 

So for this summer vacation and Eid holidays, don't waste out on the opportunity and book your tickets.
