FIA Lahore Director Sarfaraz Virk transferred

The Lahore director of the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) was transferred on Monday.
According to 24NewsHD TV, Sarfaraz Virk has been transferred to the FIA Headquarters in Islamabad.
Virk has been replaced by Captain Retired Muhammad Ali Zia from the FIA Headquarters.
Virk is likely to be given a new assignment soon. He was a senior superintendent of police in the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Punjab. He is a member of the civil service of Pakistan with more than 15 years of experience in public service, public safety, law enforcement, counter terrorism and crime investigations.
