Interior minister says Pakistani passport ranking will improve further in two years: Govt to solve traders' problems
Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi said on Monday that the government would soon find a solution to the issue of Pakistanis not being issued visas by the UAE government, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing the traders at the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), the minister said that the government had worked a lot on improving the ranking of the Pakistani passport, and its ranking would improve further in two years’ time.
Describing smuggling as a termite that eats the country from within, he said the government had controlled smuggling considerably.
He further said that solving the issues of traders was a priority for the government.
Naqvi opined that the credit for a reduction in the crime rate in Karachi went to the city police.
