10-year-old boy found brutally murdered in Gujranwala

A 10-year-old boy was found brutally murdered in the Wahando police station area of Gujranwala, 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday. 

According to police, the body of the child, identified as Shoaib, was recovered near the Government School in Sehj Kalan.

Initial findings indicated that the victim had suffered severe injuries.

Senior police officials, accompanied by a heavy police contingent, reached the scene soon after receiving information about the incident.

Rescue teams were also called in to assist with the operation.

The body was shifted to a nearby hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Police said an investigation has been launched to determine the motive behind the killing and identify those responsible.
