Namrah Shahid has opened up about her admiration for fellow actress Saba Qamar and revealed that she used to spend entire nights watching Saba's dramas to prepare for her own performances.
Speaking in an interview, Namrah said she would often stay awake until 3 or 4 a.m. studying Saba Qamar's work as part of her character preparation.
She explained that Saba was never just an inspiration to her, but her "mentor" and "ideal" from the very beginning of her acting journey.
When the interviewer pointed out that she has now worked alongside the actress she once admired.
Namrah shared that the relationship has evolved into a close friendship, saying, "Now we're friends."
The two actresses recently appeared together in the drama Muamma, where their on-screen collaboration brought them even closer off-screen.
Over time, both have spoken warmly about each other on different platforms with Saba describing Namrah as one of her best friends.
On the other hand, Namrah has repeatedly expressed her admiration and gratitude for Saba's support and mentorship.
Saba Qamar is regarded as one of Pakistan's finest actresses, known for acclaimed dramas including Baaghi, Cheekh, Fraud, Sar-e-Rah and Tumhare Husn Ke Naam.
Meanwhile, Namrah Shahid has built her career with performances that have earned praise from viewers and fellow artists alike with Muamma marking one of her most notable projects alongside her longtime idol.
