‘Relationships don’t belong on social media’, Aagha Ali gets candid
Pakistani actor Aagha Ali has opened up about why he chooses to keep his personal life away from social media, saying that relationships should remain private until they culminate in marriage. Reflecting on the growing culture of online scrutiny, the actor explained that social media has become one of the main reasons he avoids sharing details of his romantic life.
Speaking during his appearance on The Buzz, Aagha candidly shared his perspective on relationships, privacy, and the pressures of the digital age.
He admitted that social media had begun affecting him emotionally, prompting him to rethink how much of his personal life he wanted to make public.
"I decided this because I'm not alone in feeling this way. Whenever I used to share something on social media that involved someone else like a relationship it would eventually become a public discussion."
The actor clarified that he has no issue announcing a marriage, as he believes Nikah is a sacred commitment made before Allah and should be celebrated openly.
"The day Allah blesses me with another marriage, I will proudly tell everyone. Why wouldn't I? It's something you've done sincerely before your Creator, so there's nothing to hide."
However, Aagha believes that publicizing a relationship before marriage is unnecessary because no one can predict what the future holds.
"Sharing a relationship on social media is a foolish thing because there's no guarantee of what tomorrow will bring. Another person's life is involved too, and you have a responsibility toward them."
The actor also spoke about the increasingly toxic environment on social media, saying frustration, unemployment, and the desire for online fame have fueled negativity across digital platforms.

"As time passes, people are becoming more frustrated. Unemployment is increasing, and many have realized they can earn money simply by creating controversy online. That's why I believe it's better to keep your personal life private."
