Qureshi hopes opposition parties will play role for approval of South Punjab bill

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi Monday said that announcements regarding a parliamentary bill for the establishment of South Punjab province and an additional package of five hundred billion rupees for this region are a fulfilment of promises made with the masses, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a tweet on Monday, he expressed the confidence that the opposition parties whilst rising above political differences will play a positive role in the approval of the South Punjab bill for the welfare of the people.
He also thanked the prime minister for deciding to fulfil the long-sought demand of the South Punjab people to make it a province.
