Kunwar Dilshad, the advisor to Punjab Chief Minister has also been assigned with the portfolio of Law and Parliamentary Affairs, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The Punjab government issued a notification in this regard on Monday.   

Kanwar Dilshad, a former federal secretary (BPS-22) has also served as Secretary Election Commission of Pakistan (2004 –2009). 

He did his MA in journalism in 1968 from Punjab University, LLB in 1970 from Punjab University, and MA in Political Science from the University of Baluchistan in 1982. 

He is an accomplished electoral professional, possessing management experience of over 30 years in national and multinational organizations.
