Work starts on smart syllabus for 5th and 8th grade Punjab students
Work has been started for preparing smart syllabus for fifth and eighth grade students in Punjab keeping in view the difficulties in teaching to children due to excessive syllabus, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
In this regard, education experts have been hired to make the primary and middle school syllabus smart.
Education experts from government and private schools are being consulted on the smart syllabus.
According to Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat the syllabus will be released next week.
About excessive syllabus, teachers said only three months are left for the annual examinations of primary and middle school students.
They said board-style assessment of fifth and eighth grade students is to be conducted in February.
Good results can be achieved even from young children with the smart syllabus, teachers said.
