Natasha Baig makes big revelation about her Bollywood offer
Vocalist Natasha Baig has disclosed that she was once approached to perform in Bollywood film Tiger Zinda Hai, but the opportunity fell through after tensions between Pakistan and India escalated.
Speaking on The Talk Talk Show with Hassan Chaudhry, Natasha said music composers Vishal Shekhar had reached out to her after hearing her vocals and wanted her to be part of the film’s national anthem scene alongside choir singers.
According to Natasha, preparations and logistics for the project were already underway and everything was seemingly in place.
However, unfortunately, the situation changed as political tensions between the two countries intensified.
She said she never heard back after the situation turned tense which eventually mark the project her only Bollywood call to date.
Natasha described the experience as disappointing, as an opportunity that appeared close to completion was ultimately affected by circumstances beyond her control.
Natasha Baig is a Pakistani singer, songwriter and composer recognised for her powerful vocals and fusion of Sufi rock, folk and current music.
She rose to prominence after appearing as a finalist on Cornetto Music Icons in 2013 and later featured on Coke Studio.
