Global media applauds Pakistan’s diplomacy in averting major regional conflict

Global media outlets have widely acknowledged Pakistan’s effective strategy and successful diplomacy in helping avert a potentially devastating conflict in the region, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday. 

According to the report, through a combination of strong military diplomacy and sustained diplomatic engagement, Pakistan has been credited with playing a decisive role in restoring peace and stability.

According to international reports, Pakistan’s efforts were instrumental in bringing an end to the recent hostilities, with Al Jazeera noting that the country played a key role in halting military actions. 

Reuters described Pakistan as a powerful mediator between the United States and Iran, highlighting its growing diplomatic influence on the global stage.

Fox News reported that US President Donald Trump decided to stop military operations after engaging in discussions with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. 

Meanwhile, the BBC noted that Pakistan had been actively working for weeks to ensure peace in the region, ultimately succeeding in its efforts.

Gulf News emphasised Pakistan’s longstanding relations with both Iran and the United States, which enabled it to position itself as a credible guarantor of peace. 

TRT World described Pakistan’s role as historic and outcome-driven, noting that its mediation helped prevent serious regional consequences. 

Even the Indian publication The Hindu highlighted the persistent and sincere efforts of Pakistan’s leadership in securing an end to the conflict.

Experts believe that the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, combined with a carefully crafted diplomatic strategy, helped steer the region away from large-scale destruction. 

They noted that Pakistan’s role as a mediator reflects its growing importance and the increasing level of trust it commands internationally.

The recognition from global media underscores Pakistan’s emergence as a net regional stabiliser, reinforcing its position as a key player in maintaining peace and preventing conflict escalation in an increasingly volatile geopolitical landscape.
