Speedy trailer claims three lives in Thatta

Three people lost their lives when a speedy trawler hit their motorcycle in Thatta, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Friday.

The accident took place near Thatta Bypass. Police said that one of the dead persons was identified as Baba Brohi, and two other young men.

Soon after receiving the report of the accident, Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead bodies to the Civil Hospital in Thattha.

The driver of the trawler escaped from the scene after brushing the motorcyclists.

Police registered a case and started a search operation to arrest the driver.

Earlier in July 2025, at least six people were killed and twelve injured when a bus carrying picnickers from Karachi to Keenjhar Lake overturned near Makli, Thatta district.

The accident occurred when the bus fell into a ditch while turning a sharp turn.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in the bus accident and directed authorities to ensure immediate medical assistance to the injured.
