Companies operating smart loan Apps asked to get audited

The companies providing smart loans through online applications (Apps) have been asked to get their accounts audited immediately by a well-reputed IT company, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has issued orders to all companies operating smart loan apps to get their audit completed immediately.
The SECP sources said they had received complaints against online applications. Upon which, FIA and other investigation agencies recommended audit of the smart loan companies.
They said, in view of the increasing demands of citizens for getting smart loans, companies’ business will be streamlined.
