Mawra's 'Sanam Teri Kasam' surprises Bollywood
Bollywood movie 'Sanam Teri Kasam' has broken its original opening-day record amid Mawra Hocane's wedding is roaring on global media.
'Sanam Teri Kasam', which originally debuted in 2016, has stolen the spotlight while beating two other movies 'Loveyapa' and 'Badass Ravi Kumar'.
According to Indian entertainment website Koimoi, before its release in cinemas, the film sold 88,000 tickets worth 1.55 crore Indian Rupees. This number already surpasses the film’s opening-day collection in 2016, where it earned 1 crore INR on its first day.

Sanam Teri Kasam is not only gaining attention for its music and emotional storyline but also due to the growing popularity of Mawra Hocane’s performance in the lead role.
With a solid fan base that has built up over the years, the film is expected to exceed its original lifetime earnings of ₹9 crore and may even reach ₹15 crore by the end of the weekend.
The film was directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru whereas the male lead was played by Harshvardhan Rane.
