Gas supply to industries, CNG sector suspended in Karachi 

Gas supply to industries and CNG sector has been suspended from 8 am today in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to spokesperson, in view of the increasing demand for gas during the winter season, the management of Sui Southern Gas Company has once again taken this decision. 

Gas supply to industrial consumers including captive power plants and all CNG stations including those running on RLNG will remain disconnected till 8 am on Monday.

As per normal daily basis, gas supply to domestic and commercial consumers will remain disconnected from 10 pm to 5 am under gas load management. 

On the other hand, series of unannounced power load shedding in the city of lights continued.

Duration of power load shedding in different areas of the city is 4 to 10 hours.

According to KE spokesperson, 30 percent of KE feeders, on which every power is stolen, are subjected to load shedding while 70 percent of KE feeders are exempted from power load shedding.
