Imran Khan’s nephew Shahrez seen celebrating Basant in Lahore

Shahrez, the nephew of PTI founder Imran Khan and son of Aleema Khan, was seen celebrating the traditional spring festival of Basant in Lahore, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday. 

According to images and accounts circulating on social media, Shahrez visited the Walled City of Lahore on Friday, where he celebrated Basant along with his children.

He was also seen flying kites at the residence of a friend, marking the occasion in a family setting.

Speaking informally, Shahrez said he had been fond of kite flying during his childhood and wanted his children to experience the cultural tradition of Basant.

He added that the visit to the inner city was aimed at introducing them to the festive spirit associated with the event.

Earlier, photographs surfaced on social media showing Shahrez celebrating Basant with family members.

In the images, he could be seen actively participating in kite flying, drawing public attention due to his family’s political prominence.
