Man commits suicide in Rawalpindi

A 22-year-old man was found dead in the Pirwadhai police jurisdiction, Rawalpindi, on Sunday, 24NewsHD TV reported. 

According to police, the incident occurred in Gali Loharan, where the deceased, identified as Farooq Khan, was found with self-inflicted injuries inside his residence.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Pirwadhai police team reached the spot after receiving the report and collected CCTV footage from the surrounding area as part of the investigation.

Initial evidence has been secured, and further inquiries are underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the death.

Meanwhile, reports circulating in the locality suggested that the young man may have taken his life due to distress over excessive utility bills.

However, police officials said the motive has not yet been confirmed, and all aspects of the case are being examined.
