List of Murree tragedy victims released

Rescue 1122 has released a list of tourists who were shivered to death in Murree owing to heavy snowfall and severe traffic jam, reported 24NewsHD TV on Saturday.
The death toll in Murree has risen to 21. According to the Rescue officials, the deceased belonged to Lahore, Gujranwala, Islamabad, Mardan and Karachi.
As per the details, Islamabad Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Naveed Iqbal (49) along with his seven family members including wife and six children lost their lives after being stuck in their vehicle for several hours amidst fierce snowfall.
The other deceased included: Ashfaq (31) son of Younis of Gujranwala; Zahid (27) r/o Kamalabad; Maroof (31) s/o Ashraf and r/o Lahore; Zafar Iqbal (30) r/o Lahore; three residents of Mardan including Suhail Khan (27), Asad (22) and Bilal (21); Bilal Hussain (24) r/o Karachi; and Muhammad Shahzad (46) r/o Rawalpindi, his wife and two minor sons and a daughter.
Police said most of the people died of hyperthermia due to shivering cold. Among the victims, four were friends who were visiting Murree from Mardan.
