Imran Khan wins set of facilities from court
An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad on Wednesday allowed a set of facilities to Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan including talking to his sons on phone, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The petition seeking a number of facilities was filed in the court by advocate Faisal Chaudhry representing Imran Khan.
While Advocate Zaheer Shah and Naveed Malik appeared in the court on behalf of the prosecution, while another advocate Mohammad Faisal Malik was also present in the court along with his legal team on behalf of the PTI founder.
The court also allowed Imran Khan to undergo medical examination by his physician, have daily newspaper and TV facility restored.
Earlier in October 2024, Imran Khan had held a conversation with his sons, Kasim and Sulaiman, from Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail. The WhatsApp conversation lasted for 30 minutes.
