Power consumers to get 93-paisa cut per unit in January bills
The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved a reduction in electricity prices under the monthly fuel price adjustment (FPA), 24NewsHD TV reported on Wednesday.
According to NEPRA’s decision on a request for the month of November 2025, electricity tariffs have been cut by 93 paisas per unit under the FPA mechanism.
The relief will be passed on to power consumers across the country in their electricity bills for the month of January.
The decision is expected to provide some financial relief to consumers amid rising living costs, as fuel price adjustments directly impact monthly electricity bills.
