Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid has also tested positive for coronavirus.

Sh Rashid has quarantined himself after being tested positive. Talking to a private news channel, Sheikh Rashid said that despite of having no symptoms, he has isolated himself for two weeks as he has been tested positive.

Sheikh Rashid also advised the public to take precautions and has requested for prayers for his recovery.

Earlier in the day, PML N leader Shahbaz Sharif tested negative. As per details, Shahbaz Sharif had appeared in Lahore High Court on 3rd June so he had his corona test which came as negative. He had also held meetings with former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbassi, who also has been tested positive for the coronavirus on Monday.  

It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan crossed the 100,000 figure during the past 24 hours [Sunday], as the country recorded 65 more deaths, raising the death toll to 2,067.

With the addition of 4,728 new cases, Pakistan has now 103,671 confirmed infected people since the outbreak of the pandemic, making it 15th most affected country in the world
