Motorway police on Wednesday foiled a bid to kidnap a girl on Liyari Express, Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to motorway police, some unknown persons riding in a car tried to kidnap a young girl, Gul Sikka, from Liyari Expressway near Isa Nagri. 

Acting promptly, the motorway police reached the venue and foiled the kidnapping bid of the girl. But they failed to arrest the car riders.  

The police later handed over the girl to her parents.
