Karachi bank lockers looted with security guard’s alleged involvement
Unidentified burglars looted multiple lockers from a local bank in Karachi’s North Nazimabad area during the night between Saturday and Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police officials, the crime was facilitated by the bank’s security guard, who has since been arrested.
Investigations revealed that the guard allegedly provided direct assistance to the robbers by escorting them into the bank premises.
Authorities stated that the culprits arrived well-prepared, bringing with them gas cutters and other specialized equipment to break into the secure lockers.
However, an exact assessment of the financial loss has yet to be determined, as the bank continues to audit the contents of the compromised lockers.
A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered, and police are interrogating the arrested guard to uncover further details about the plan, the suspects involved, and the extent of the theft.
