ANF recovers drugs worth Rs29m in multiple operations
Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has recovered 137.85 kilograms of narcotics during seven successful operations from different cities and arrested seven accused, including two Afghan nationals, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
According to details, an ANF team intercepted a passenger who was going to Bahrain and recovered 1.150 kilograms of ice from his bag.
In another operation, the ANF team seized 81.6 kilograms of hashish, 12 kilograms of ice, and 500 grams of heroin and arrested two Afghan nationals.
The ANF team seized 13.2 kilograms of hashish from an accused near a petrol pump in Rawalpindi.
An ANF intercepted a vehicle near Kachlack Bypass and recovered 12 kilograms of hashish and arrested an accused.
In another operation, the ANF team intercepted a vehicle near Islamabad Toll Plaza and recovered 11.050 kilograms of ice, 1 pistol, 5 magazines, and 70 rounds from an accused.
In another operation, ANF team recovered 6 kilograms of hashish near Sukkur Bus Terminal and recovered 6 kilograms of hashish.
In another operation, the ANF team intercepted two parcels in a courier office and seized 345 grams of intoxicated tablets.
