At least 300 shops were gutted when fire broke out in Lunda Bazaar near Sheranwala Bagh in Gujranwala on Tuesday night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.  

The reason behind the eruption of the fire is yet to be ascertained. 

Eight fire tenders of Rescue 1122 managed to extinguish the fire after two hours hectic efforts. 

The cloth and other commodities were reduced to ashes in the intense blaze.
