US Special Envoy for Afghan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad met Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ, Rawalpindi on Friday.

According to the ISPR, mutual interests, regional situation and Afghan reconciliation process came under the discussion during the meeting.

COAS General Bajwa said that Pakistan would continue support the peace process.

Khlailzad praised Pakistan’s efforts for promoting peace in the region, said the ISPR.
