May 8, 2023 08:29 PM

Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb struck back at former prime minister Imran Khan for playing the blame game in the name of exercising his legal and constitutional rights.

“Legal and constitutional rights are not available on Twitter, rallies and meetings,” the minister maintained as she respond to queries Imran Khan tweeted.

“According to the constitution and law, every citizen has rights. “Why don’t you approach the police or a court of law” she questioned Imran Khan.

She recalled Imran Khan's allegations of a US-backed plot to oust him from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

Such allegations need to be proven, she said stressing that this person never provide evidence to prove his allegations.

"Blame games and smear campaigns have nothing to do with a legal and constitutional right.”
