DRO, RO made OSD on rigging allegations in NA-75 Daska Inquiry Reports

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Monday made the DRO and RO as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) following the allegations of rigging in NA-75 by-elections in the Daska Inquiry Report.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, both the officers were declared guilty in the inquiry reports.

The report said that an action against the MRO and RO in the light of the inquiry report would also be taken.

The ECP had formed a committee to take action against the officers and employees held responsible in both the inquiry reports.

The ECP’s committee would consist of Special Secretary, DG Law, Director HR and DD Law and it would assist the Commission on the Daska Inquiry Reports.

The report further said that the committee would decide that there would be departmental disciplinary action or criminal proceedings or both against those responsible.

As per the report, the next meeting of the ECP would be held in seven days to take action against those responsible.
