Record ice drug seized as top dealer killed in CCD encounter

A notorious ice dealer has been killed in an encounter with Crime Control Department (CCD) personnel in Faisalabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday. 

Circle Officer Siddique Cheema also seized the largest consignment of the drug in the history of Punjab.

A CCD team raided the house of Looms Factory owner Tayyab Yousuf in Khayaban Garden. However, Tayyab fled the scene but various types of drugs were recovered during a search of the house.

Worth Rs250 million, 34 kg of ice, 20 kg of opium and 14 kg of hashish were recovered.

Inspector Siddique Cheema had a face-to-face encounter near Topal Dengro in search of Tayyab in which Tayyab was killed in a bilateral exchange of fire with CCD while his three accomplices escaped.

Tayyab had formed a network of forty girls to supply drugs.

The deceased accused used to supply drugs to educational institutions across Punjab through the girls.

Tayyab's brother Waqas is absconder in a drug supply case for two years.
