Imran Khan addressing the inaugural ceremony reiterated and advised the people to wear masks to stem the spread of coronavirus as Pakistan brilliantly navigated and came out of the first wave of coronavirus securing its economy as well amid lockdown. “The same opposition which lambasted me for not imposing lockdown just like India did in its country, now arranging public rallies,” Imran Khan said.
The Prime Minister said he wanted to uplift Pakistan's areas which are behind the other areas like Gilgit Baltistan, erstwhile FATA and Balochistan on the model of China, like the Chinese is developing Eastern China with CPEC project. “We need to create wealth like establishing special economic zones to alleviate poverty,” he added.
“Our efforts are to provide maximum facilitation so that the country's exports can be increased. It is the country’s need that we help Sialkot. Our biggest problem is our foreign reserves,” Imran Khan said.
The premier also empathized with establishing small and medium industries for providing jobs to the youth of the country.
The PTI is bringing the local government system like Paris, New York and London mayor. “We are bringing the modern metropolitan city government to solve your municipal issues. The mayor will be elected directly who will decide his team,” he added.
Earlier, the first purchased aircraft Airbus 320 for new private airline Air Sial arrived in Karachi from the United States on November 29 bringing a positive development for Pakistan's Civil Aviation Industry.
The TV channel reported that two more Airbus 320s will soon arrive in Pakistan from abroad as Air Sial management intends to launch domestic flights operation on the eve of New Year.
In the first phase domestic flights will be operated between Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Sialkot and Peshawar.
It is pertinent to note that after the launch of Sialkot International Airport Ltd.
