Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar played a trick with Prime Minister Imran Khan, who was on a one-day visit to Sialkot on Wednesday.

Dar took credit for the development projects that were actually launched or planned by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

During his visit to Sialkot, Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated two projects of the PML-N government, the TV channel reported.

Air Sial was issued a licence in 2017 but the Sialkot business community could not make it operational due to the coronavirus pandemic. Air Sial is the third private airline of the country.

The TV channel reported that the project inaugurated by Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday was launched in the PML-N rule.

The Punjab Intermediate Cities Improvement Investment (PICII) Programme worth Rs17 billion was signed with the Asian Development Bank and it was also contracted in February 2018. The agreement was signed between the Punjab government, the local government of Sialkot and the Asian Development Bank. The project includes plans to improve water supply, sewerage system and public parks.
